Message from the Celebration Team: You a
re invited to a Retirement Celebration for Pastor Terry Janke on Sunday, August 18, 2024. The Retirement Celebration will be held during the Sunday morning service (10:30am). Pastor Terry will be speaking. Following the morning service there will be a reception in the foyer. A light snack will be served.
Most refunds for the Retirement Celebration that was to be held in June have been processed. You can expect a refund by the end of July in the manner in which you paid – PayPal or cheque (cheque if paid cash). Our financial administrator, Krista Wynne, is managing the refunds. If you have not received a refund by July 31, please reach out to Krista Wynne at krista@whyteridgebaptist.ca.

Connecting Points Brochure (Fall 2024) – coming end of August. This brochure lists the various WRBC ministries and activities this fall (Sept – Dec) where you can connect with others in healthy relationships.

Growing In Grace (Seniors 55+) Please remember to get your baby pictures to Bonnie Tholl in her church mail slot as soon as possible. We are also collecting Favorite Recipes from our Seniors – copy your favorite or your family’s favorite or oldest recipe and why you love it so much! Remember to put your name on it so we know who it belongs to!
Missions / Justice and Mercy Ministries (JAM)
Opportunity to care for our missionary family Andrew & Courtney Friesen while they are in Winnipeg! They still need a place to stay September 9-17. Please contact Emmie if you are interested.
Harvest Manitoba—Check our Food Bank Wall to see what is needed and take a card for the item you want to donate. Food bank donations may be left in the box located in the foyer next to the mail folders. Any non-perishables are appreciated, especially pancake mix and syrup, canned fruit/vegetables, canned meat/fish especially salmon. Please do not bring perishable items. Thank you!
Family Support Centre needs Baby Formula and newborn clothing for Baby Layettes! Use the bin in the foyer (next to the mail folders) at church to drop off your donations of baby formula (Enfamil is the most requested, but any brand is appreciated!). Drop off any time. Summer Children’s Programming for Sunday mornings:
Preschool and kindergarten children will sit with their parents and be dismissed for programming after the Children’s Message. Grades 1-6 sit with their parents. Activity & coloring pages are available on the Kids’ Craft Carts in the auditorium.

- Full name and address of the person to be receipted.
- Your preferred Fund: General Fund, Capital Asset Fund, Missions Trips Fund or Benevolent Fund. If desiring more than one Fund please include dollar amount for each. In the event that no Fund is chosen the full amount will go into the General Fund.
