Membership Meeting – Sunday, February 2, 12:00 pm following the morning service. Whyte Ridge Baptist Church will hold our next Membership Meeting on February 2, 2025, immediately following the morning service. The primary focus of this meeting will be the 2024 Annual Report. A meeting agenda and copies of all relevant documents are available at the Welcome Centre or by contacting the church office.  

MISSIONFEST MANITOBA 2025

Missionfest Manitoba is coming up soon February 7-9 at Church of the Rock! Join us for a weekend of learning about God at work here and around the world as speakers share about our theme, How Shall They Hear? Experience fascinating breakout sessions and great worship, and explore over 130 ministries and missions. Youth and Young Adults will love After Hours on Friday night! You won’t want to miss this opportunity to be informed, inspired, equipped and engaged in the Great Commission. Men’s Sports Night – Saturday, Feb 1 & Sat, Feb 22, 8-10 pm. Bring your gym shoes to the church and join us to play basketball, soccer, etc.  No registration needed and no charge.

Growing In Grace(55+) Valentine’s Event, Thursday, Feb 13, 12 – 2 pm. Cost $10 –  Come spend Valentine’s Day with us as Bonnie cooks and shares her recipes while you enjoy a great taste testing menu!

4 x 4 Connection Groups Kickoff Event, Monday, Feb 17, 7-8 pm, church foyer – Social gatherings of either 4 women, or 4 men, over 4 months (each woman/man plans one event). Groups made randomly from list of those wanting to participate. Groups made in February – events run March – June. Register by Feb 16: 4X4 Groups – Registration Form Winter 2025. WRBC Family Night – Friday, Feb 21, 6-10 pm – Board Games, Large Group Games . . . something for everyone! Free!  No registration needed – just show up!

Winter Camp at Camp Nutimik  – Register  by  February  1 at www.campnutimik.com!  

Rosewood Service, Thursday, Feb 6.  Anyone who loves to sing is invited to join this vocal  ensemble the first Thursday of every month at 9:30 am at Rosewood Retirement Home. Wednesday nights at WRBC 

NEW STUDY starting Wed., Feb 5:  Precept Ministries Bible Study – I Peter, How To Stand Firm When Tested, Wednesdays, Feb 5 – April 2, 7-9. Cost $30. Registration required for in-depth study of I Peter or In & Out Bible study (less homework). Registration for Precept – I Peter  Email precept@whyteridgebaptist.ca for more information.

Come To The Table Weekly Meal –  Wednesdays till March 26, 5:30-6:45 pm – cost $7/person; $25/household of 4, main auditorium. Please register online Come To The Table Registration by Sunday night to help with meal planning. Menu for Feb 2: Greek Pan Chicken (includes mixed vegetables) and Rice. Dessert: Chocolate Chip Cookie. You can also sign up at the Welcome Centre to help with the meal planning (payment will still be at the door when you arrive at Come To The Table).

Discussion Group – Wednesday nights following Come To the Table (7-9 pm). Meet in the Fireside Room to discuss Sunday’s sermon and develop your church family connections. Casual attendance & drop-ins are welcome.

Care Journey Training(/HELPS) – Discipleship Pathway for a Caring Community, 5 Sessions (Wed, Feb 26 – Mar 26th), Time: 7 pm – 8:30 pm, Location: WRBC Common Office Area, online registration preferred: Care Journey Training Registration Winter 2025

Conquer Series – The Conquer Series is a powerful teaching series for men. This 10 week series runs from March 1 to May 3 (Saturday mornings) from 8 to 10am. It will guide you on the path to freedom from pornography and lust. This is not just another study tool for men, but a tried and proven battle plan for purity in a godless world. Contact the church office to register.

LifePath Seminar: LifeKeys – Discovering Who You Are, Why You’re Here and What You Do Best, 6 Sessions (Tues, March 11th – April 22nd) – no class on April 1st.  Location: Children’s Ministry Main Area, Time: 7 pm – 9 pm. Cost: Workbook ($15). Contact: Pastor Doug. Registration coming soon.

Voice of the Martyrs, ONE VOICE, February 2025 issue is available at the Welcome Centre. The purpose of ONE VOICE is to engage the Canadian Christian community and bring awareness of Christians who suffer because of their faith in Jesus Christ.

Hey Parents – this registration form is for all children attending our programs in Nursery up to Grade 6.  This information is required to be filled out each year for each child to make sure we have updated allergies, permissions, and consent for your child. Please complete this form if you have not done so already.

What happens to babies who don’t live to be able to make a choice, what happens to people who live in unreached areas in this world?”  Come join the discussion as we engage with these hard questions!

• Full name and address of the person to be receipted.
• Your preferred Fund: General Fund, Capital Asset Fund, Missions Trips Fund or Benevolent Fund.  If desiring more than one Fund please include dollar amount for each.  In the event that no Fund is chosen the full amount will go into the General Fund.
