Free Family Christmas Photos will be available to everyone in the church main foyer for the next 3 Sundays, Dec 8th, 15th & 22nd before and after the service. Contributions to our Christmas Food Hampers encouraged.
Kids at the Ridge Christmas Program is Sunday, December 15 during the morning service – come and celebrate with our children!
Plan to join us for our Christmas Eve Service at 5 pm December 24.
Year End Giving
- The deadline for donations for 2024 tax receipting is December 31, 2024.
- All cheques must be dated no later than December 31, 2024.
- Donations may also be dropped off at the church by noon on Sunday, December 29.
- Electronic giving options must be exercised by midnight December 31, 2024.

CHRISTMAS @ THE RIDGE

Christmas Dessert and Variety Night begins at 7:30pm in the auditorium. Please check in at the front auditorium entrance.
Call the office 204-489-3875 by 2 pm Friday if you have not reserved your spot yet. We have a few more openings.
Celebrate the Birth of Jesus with us NEXT Thursday, Dec 12, 12-2 pm!
We will be having our “Ladies Ensemble” performing for us and we will join them in a few carols. Turkey dinner is on the menu and we will follow it up with our favorite gift exchange game.
Please remember to bring a $15 gift – Mark your gift male/female/either.
Sign up no later than Dec 8th. You must pre- register and pre-pay. Register HERE or at the table on Sunday. For more information contact the church office.

WRBC Christmas Offering – Sunday, Dec 8th – Tues, Dec 17th Goal: $2,400 (Supporting Far Corners Ministry – for the education of children in India ($200/pastor’s child) Any funds above goal will go into our General Fund to help us make our 2024 commitments. To give to this Special Christmas Offering online – please go to www.whyteridgebaptist.ca/give. Be sure that when you are giving your donation you enter Special Christmas Offering in the memo line so we can designate your gift as requested. Cheques can be dropped off to the Church Office or put in the locked black mailbox outside the church front doors. Please write “Special Christmas Offering” on your donation. Please prayerfully consider how you can participate in our special offering to demonstrate our love and support this Christmas to Far Corners Ministry.

WRBC Foodbank Christmas Hampers – Our WRBC Foodbank is collecting Christmas Hampers to give to the 120 families (30 families each week) who visit our foodbank. A suggested shopping list is provided (estimated cost $50-$70) Christmas Hampers Handout 2024 Partial donations towards hampers are welcome too! Hampers needed on 4 Sundays. Share Christmas with a mom supported by Family Support Centre by dropping off formula or other baby items to the church. Contact the church office for more information.

Continue to pray for the man that God has already chosen to lead WRBC into the future. Pray that he would see the job posting and the Holy Spirit would nudge him to apply. Pray that God would prepare his heart and if appropriate, his family, for this opportunity. Pray for our staff and ministry leaders who are continuing the work God has for us at WRBC. And pray for us all as a church family, that together we would be united and patiently perseverant.

Missions / Justice and Mercy Ministries (JAM)
Family Support Centre is in need of Newborn(0-3 month) sleepers, baby shampoo/soap and diaper cream to go in the Baby Layettes given to the moms.
Please consider helping moms in need and drop off your items at the church in the blue bin by the mail slots.
Formula is always needed if you are able to donate (most requested brands – Enfamil, Similac & Good Start).

Kids at the Ridge Programming
Kids at the Ridge Christmas Program – full dress rehearsal, will be on Saturday, Dec 14 at 10 am to prepare for the program on SUNDAY, Dec 15 during the morning service. Visiting children are welcome to join our Children’s Ministry programming following the Christmas program. Contact Sheilla for more information.

Hey Parents – this registration form is for all children attending our programs in Nursery up to Grade 6. This information is required to be filled out each year for each child to make sure we have updated allergies, permissions, and consent for your child. It also helps us determine class sizes for the new year. Please complete this form as soon as possible!

- Full name and address of the person to be receipted.
- Your preferred Fund: General Fund, Capital Asset Fund, Missions Trips Fund or Benevolent Fund. If desiring more than one Fund please include dollar amount for each. In the event that no Fund is chosen the full amount will go into the General Fund.
