Join us this Sunday for Pastor Terry’s Retirement Celebration which will be held during the Sunday morning service (10:30am). Pastor Terry will be speaking and there will be a reception in the foyer following the morning service . A light snack will be served. This service will be livestreamed.

Reserved Seating for Users of Translation Apps – the two front rows on west side of auditorium have been reserved for those using language translation devices during the service.
Update from Lead Pastor Search Team: The job opportunity has been posted and the Search Team will meet this coming week to refine the evaluation process to be used to screen resumes. Please continue to pray that we would hear and follow God’s guidance and direction as we work through this process.
Please also pray for the person that God is preparing to send us as our next Lead Pastor, that they would see our job posting and be drawn to us. Give thanks to God that He has provided Pastor Bruce to give us leadership through this transition period, giving us peaceful reassurance that we can wait on God’s timing to provide His best for us.

Pastor Alvin Harsch who served as pastor at Grant Park Baptist (before it became Whyte Ridge Baptist) from 1970-74 has recently passed away. Read about his life here. His memorial service will be livestreamed on Sunday, August 25, 2024 at 3 pm.

Missions / Justice and Mercy Ministries (JAM)
Harvest Manitoba—Check our Food Bank Wall to see what is needed and take a card for the item you want to donate. Food bank donations may be left in the box located in the foyer next to the mail folders. Any non-perishables are appreciated, especially pancake mix and syrup, canned fruit/vegetables, canned meat/fish especially salmon. Please do not bring perishable items. Thank you!
Family Support Centre needs Baby Formula and newborn clothing for Baby Layettes! Use the bin in the foyer (next to the mail folders) at church to drop off your donations of baby formula (Enfamil is the most requested, but any brand is appreciated!). Drop off any time. Kids at the Ridge Programming
Summer Children’s Programming for Sunday mornings:
Preschool and kindergarten children will sit with their parents and be dismissed for programming after the Children’s Message. Grades 1-6 sit with their parents. Activity & coloring pages are available on the Kids’ Craft Carts in the auditorium.

You’re invited if you have already graduated or are just coming into youth this year!
Contact Rudy ASAP to join this event! It’s $20 a person and we are meeting at 6:15 at Fort Whyte Alive on McCreary Road.
Here are the two forms you will need to fill out ON-Water-Waiver-2 and this one here. Try to get these forms to Rudy before the event.

Ways to give at Whyte Ridge Baptist Church: For those who are looking for a way to give to the mission of Whyte Ridge Baptist Church, options can be found at whyteridgebaptist.ca/GIVE.
To electronically transfer funds to WRBC please use the email: give@whyteridgebaptist.ca. No password required. Include in the message portion of your e-transfer the following information:
- Full name and address of the person to be receipted.
- Your preferred Fund: General Fund, Capital Asset Fund, Missions Trips Fund or Benevolent Fund. If desiring more than one Fund please include dollar amount for each. In the event that no Fund is chosen the full amount will go into the General Fund.
