This week we are finishing up our unit on King David before we head to our Christmas lessons. It’s a perfect lesson to end our unit with and a perfect one to begin Advent with. King David wrote Psalm 23 to praise God! David compared God’s love and protection and guidance for His people to that provided by a shepherd for his sheep.
Talk to your kids about how Jesus is like our Good Shepherd. He laid down His life to save people from sin. Because of Jesus, we have hope that one day we will live with God forever!
