Update - George Giesbrecht left yesterday to SK to prepare for his brother’s (Ed) funeral and to serve as his executor. George arrive there safely last night. The funeral service is being held tomorrow morning at 11 in Warman. After the service, Ed will be cremated and his ashes will be brought back to MB for burial. A memorial service will be held here at a later date. Please pray that the Lord will bless George, and his family, with comfort, strength and wisdom over the coming days as they grieve together and take care of Ed’s affairs.

George Giesbrecht received word late Monday March 24th that his younger brother Ed (55 years old) passed away from a heart attack. Ed lived alone in SK. George just returned home late on Sunday night after a week's business trip in SK and visiting with Ed. George is Ed's executor and will be returning to SK shortly to make funeral arrangements, etc. We would appreciate prayer. George & Debbie.

Chris Schroeder
Chris Schroeder requests prayer for his Uncle Al who is dealing with the personality-altering effects of a brain tumor in Saskatchewan.
It has been hard on the family to see his personality change so drastically, resulting in violent outbursts and, recently, his leaving the hospital and needing to be located by police. Pray for my father as he comforts and supports my aunt and cousins in the midst of all of this difficult time.
Please pray for healing - mentally, physically, and emotionally - for Al and for peace for his family during this emotional time.

Please pray for Elmer Bartel and his family. Elmer has been diagnosed with colon cancer and has been told that he has 4-6 weeks to live. Though this news is very sudden, Elmer is presently feeling quite peaceful and is looking forward to going home. Presently he is not experiencing in any physical pain. Please pray that God will grant Elmer continued peace as well as continued freedom from pain during these days as he looks forward to being in the presence of the Lord. Praise item: After searching for a few months, my roommate has found a job in Quebec. Please pray that he will find an affordable place to stay and a church family. He begins his job on Monday and leaves on Saturday.
