Emmie Dryjski
Please keep Emmie Dryjski in prayer as her sister-in-law (Vicki) passed away yesterday. Emmie had planned to see Vicki on Tuesday, but was unable to do so and grieves not being able to say goodbye. Thankfully, Emmie has peace that Vicki is with Christ.
Emmie is also concerned for her nephew, Jarred, as he is now an orphan as his father passed away 6 years earlier from a brain tumor.

Prayer and Fasting for the Penner Family
A friend of Darryl and Melanie Penner has invited us to join with him for time of prayer and fasting for the Penner family. You're all aware of the journey that Melanie, Darryl, Kira and Teagan have been on over the past year. You can catch up on this week’s events at Melanie's blog @ http://mpenner1.blogspot.ca/.
Currently, Melanie is waiting to hear from the doctors about her most recent tests and should be receiving results later this week. Melanie’s doctor will be calling her at the earliest Thursday at the latest next Monday. It is during this appointment that the next steps will be decided upon for her treatment.
The call is for us to ...
1. Join together in a day of prayer and fasting on either April 29 and/or 30. Please skip the meals for the day and use that time to pray for healing, peace, hope, courage, strength, etc.
2. Spread the word to others who may not have heard this invitation to prayer.

Praise God that Toby Cooper came through his appendicitis surgery well. He had a small perforation so he is on a triple course of antibiotics. Pray for continued recovery as he comes out of anesthetic and spends the next 5 days in the hospital on IV antibiotics.

Update - George Giesbrecht left yesterday to SK to prepare for his brother’s (Ed) funeral and to serve as his executor. George arrive there safely last night. The funeral service is being held tomorrow morning at 11 in Warman. After the service, Ed will be cremated and his ashes will be brought back to MB for burial. A memorial service will be held here at a later date. Please pray that the Lord will bless George, and his family, with comfort, strength and wisdom over the coming days as they grieve together and take care of Ed’s affairs.

George & Debbie Giesbrecht
George Giesbrecht received word late Monday March 24th that his younger brother Ed (55 years old) passed away from a heart attack. Ed lived alone in SK. George just returned home late on Sunday night after a week's business trip in SK and visiting with Ed. George is Ed's executor and will be returning to SK shortly to make funeral arrangements, etc. We would appreciate prayer. George & Debbie.

Update as of Wednesday March 26th - Ruth is resting comfortable but unresponsive and declining. Pray as the family waits to see what God's will is.
This morning Ann Donald's mother Ruth Eisbrenner of Dryden, ON suffered a stroke, the 2nd in the past several weeks. Pray for Ann as she is driving to Dryden this afternoon that she will travel safely and for the family as they face this critical time.

Please pray for Kevin Klassen's father, Harry, who is having a heart attack in Tennessee, where Kevin's parents have been on vacation. He was not conscious or breathing but has now been resuscitated and is being transferred to a heart hospital for further care.
