Daniel is headed into surgery and it is slated to start just after 11:00 this morning. Praise God for opening this spot up. We trust that God will guide the hands of all of those involved and that Dan will recover well. Still accepting prayers though!

From Shannon Swartz: My 6 week old granddaughter Norah was taken to emergency on Jan 10th and diagnosed with RSV She remains in the hospital on oxygen and is being fed through a tube. Please pray for her to be comfortable and for complete healing in her little lungs so that she can breathe without help and begin nursing once again (and come home!). Also for peace and encouragement for my daughter Randee and her husband Ryan as they go through this, while taking care of their other two children.

Good Morning Church,
My surgery has been postponed till tomorrow, Friday the 10th. It is now scheduled for 11:30 am. I’d appreciate your prayers that I won’t get bumped again. For the surgeons hands to be stable and his mind to be clear and alert. That the surgery would be a success and relieve the pain I’m in. For Lorilee as she waits the 5-6 hours for news of the surgery, for my kids in school that they’ll be able to concentrate during the day and not be anxious. For a quick and speed recovery and that I’d be diligent in doing the exercises required. Thank you for your support.

From Bogdan Dryjski: Thank you for all your prayers which have been answered. I have accomplished what I set out to do. It has been a tough go, but around each corner, God was there waiting for me, doing the work with me. I was able to find private health care, home care and physio therapist for my elderly mother to help her regain her strength and help her with recovery. I left Poland reassured my mother is in good hands. All glory to God.

From Emmie Dryjski: Please pray for Bogdan as he travels on short notice to Poland this week to be with his mother who was unexpectedly hospitalized on Thursday. Please pray for God's peace and comfort for both of them and for God's presence during their time together at Christmas.
Also, please pray that Bogdan will be successful in finding someone to take care of his mother during her recovery from hip replacement surgery. Poland doesn't have home care and his mother is very frail and lives alone.

From Brenda Palsson: Please pray for my friend Jodi and her extended family. Her 12 year old nephew was found unresponsive at home and was airlifted to Winnipeg. Seven of his organs will be harvested tonight and will be received by seven different families across Canada. They are asking for prayer that the organ donations will all be successfully received. Please pray for Luke's parents, his two younger sisters and his extended family during this heartbreaking time.

From Daniel Penner: On Thursday Dec 19th at 12:30pm I will be undergoing spinal surgery to fuse part of lower spine. The surgery will last about 5-6 hours. Please pray for the surgeons hands that they will be stable and that the surgery will be a success to correct the pain I’m in. Please pray for Lorilee during this time as she will have a long wait for news on the surgery. Pray for the kids that they will not be anxious and be able to concentrate at school. Please pray for John and Donna Hartle - John's Mother as well as Donna's Uncle passed away yesterday. Donna's mother is also not doing well - she has Shingles and is also very confused. This is the 4th death in John's family this year so it has been a trying year.

Wendi Neumann
Please pray for Corinne (Paul) Hildebrand who had emergency laser eye surgery for a detached retina while travelling in Ottawa. Unfortunately it was only 50% successful so she is slated to have surgery on her eye tomorrow in Ottawa. She then will need to stay (and sleep) upright for 8 weeks. Pray for wisdom for the doctors, healing and strength for both her and Paul as they plan to travel home by car after the surgery.
