The Bolivia team were refreshed to see how God used them at the retreat.
From Pat: Amy Dyas was used profoundly by God in her teaching on Freedom in Christ. The rest of the team were a great blessing as well.
[Sunday] we go to a church called ‘Dios es Amor’ - depot for the area affected by the floods... serving over 1000 meals a day in recent weeks. Pray that our team will be an encouragement as Terry shares from 2 Cor. 1:3 and as Rene shares testimony with Agustin translating. Also - in the evening Terry will preach again and Debbie will share a testimony. The team are doing so well. It has been a privilege and a joy to serve with them.

Emmie Dryjski
From Emmie Dryjski: Please pray for my nephew Cory who is terminally ill with stage 4 lung cancer and stage 4 liver cancer.
This news came as a shock and as a result, fear has got a grip on him. My nephew knows the way of the Lord, but has not surrendered his life to Christ. Please pray for God's grace to free Cory from this fear so that it will not cause him to resist God, but rather embrace salvation. Please also pray for God's comfort and peace for Bogdan and me so that we may be there for my nephew during this difficult time.

From Melanie Friesen: Update on my brother Andrew.
Andrew was sent to the capital on Wednesday so that they could run some tests to confirm if he had anything serious. They put him on another antibiotic and he was able to get some rest at the AIM retreat centre. Today he was given the test results and was cleared to go back to the rural area that they live in. Praise God!

Lorilee Penner
From Lorilee Penner:
Hi Family,
My mom, Ruth, who has been living with Lewy Body dementia, has recently stopped eating and drinking. Our dad, Irwin, called my sister Marla and I last night to tell us that she has been seen by her doctor who feels the end is near. They have begun to give her meds to keep her comfortable while we wait for her to pass. We have watched her decline to a barely responsive state in the last few years, and recently, she has exhibited signs that she is in pain, so we pray that she passes peacefully into God’s arms. We are thankful that Marla and Greg (Williamson) got to see Mom at Christmas and that I was able to see her last weekend. Please pray for our Dad as he stands beside her in her last days. And that in God’s perfect timing all of the other events in our lives will fall into place to allow us to mourn together. Thank you!

From Melanie Friesen: Please pray for my brother Andrew who is a missionary in Chad.
From Courtney Joy (his wife):
Andrew has been sick for ten days running to the bathroom all through the day and night. It’s pretty severe for your average stomach bug. The two medications they’ve had him on to treat for bacteria infections, Giardia and amebas have not worked. Today the doctor came with six IV bags of glucose and saline to rehydrate him. They think it’s one of two things... either while he took the antibiotic it cleared out the good bacteria in his colon and he has C Diff now. Or he has cholera. Both of which require rest, hydration, an IV, and time. Pray that his body will remain hydrated and that in Jesus name his stomach will be healed.
In Africa when someone is sick every neighbour and friend (& sometimes strangers) comes by to sit with you. This has meant our home has been full morning through evening with many from our new community. Many elders from our small local church have come through to pray with our Mus neighbours watching and listening. Pray that their hearts would be stirred that we pray to a God who hears and heals.
