Also remember in prayer Chelsea, sick for 7 years, weak, but with a strong faith. Physically tires easily, but is better than she was a year ago. Doc says it will be another year or more for full recovery.

Please pray for Susan Boles. Susan doesn't attend at WRBC but has connection to us through staff. She has been struggling with a number of significant health issues related to a past car accident, but has most recently been diagnosed with cancer in her kidneys. She asks that we pray for healing, and also for peace as she continues to trust God's leading in this difficult season.

Tonight I will fly back from Cuba to Toronto. The original plan was to get back to Winnipeg on Wednesday night. The reason for coming home early is because my wife Miriam's mom has been in the hospital and the doctors have informed us that she is in her last hours of life. Please pray for Miriam. It is hard to be away from her at this time, so I appreciate your prayers and support.

His surgery, which was scheduled for this morning, was cancelled yesterday evening,
due to shortage of beds. The hospital didn't have any information
when the surgery will be rescheduled.
Although very frustrating, our Lord is in control.

Please, please pray for my brother in-law Roman Kohoot. He is going for hip surgery on Tuesday.
My brother in-law is very sick. He is a dialysis patient and goes for kidney dialysis treatments three times a week. In addition, he has many other health problems. He's going into this surgery by faith. Please pray that he will not get an infection because his immune system is compromised.
Pray that the surgery will go well and for wisdom for the surgeon who will be performing the surgery. Also, please pray for my sister for God's comfort and peace.

He has several pockets of fluid in his right lung and may need surgery.

Olivia has also asked Jesus into her life (both of them two days apart).
They need to keep believing and to grow.

My daughter Chelsea is still sick, and improvement is slow coming. Please pray for her.

Last night, Sunday August 20, Bogdan's mother peacefully passed away in her sleep at the care home in Poland.
Bogdan and his sister are thankful that God called her peacefully in her sleep. Bogdan is also very grateful that he was able to visit his mom in May.
He and his sister are also grateful for all the prayers during the difficult process placing their mother in the care home. God has been so faithful in taking care of many of the complicated details.

An update on Pastor Terry. Yesterday he and Pat went to the Steinbach hospital. His gallbladder has been assessed as acute and therefore it will have to be removed. They are planning to transfer him to St. Boniface Hospital, where he will likely have surgery either tonight or tomorrow morning. Please keep Terry and Pat in prayer during this time.

Please pray for Pastor Terry, who has been suffering from some gallbladder issues and experiencing a great deal of pain and discomfort. Terry and Pat are presently returning to Manitoba from the cottage and are hoping that Terry can receive some medical intervention here. My mother-in-law’s health has been deteriorating in the last month. She is 86 years old. Currently she is in the hospital in emergency waiting for surgery. She has broken a bone in her arm and has other complications. She is on oxygen and in a critical situation.
My wife Miriam is in Winnipeg and she won’t be able to go to Peru to see her mother at this time of the year.
Please join me in prayer for strength in this difficult time for Miriam.

Good news from Wendi Neumann: So we are praising the Lord that Sieg was able to come home today with a newly implanted loop recorder to monitor his heart. He was so thankful! He has had issues with a very sore back these last few days which was expected considering the fall. So they did a couple of x-rays and there are no broken bones just bruises. We are thanking the Lord for this as well. Thanks for all the love, prayers and messages from the church family.

Sieg Neumann was taken to St. Boniface Hospital after passing out this morning prior to our church service. Wendi has let us know that Sieg is alert, talking and doing well. All of his tests so far are looking good and they are awaiting some additional tests. They appreciate our prayers and are grateful to all of those who helped this morning. Let's continue to keep Sieg and Wendi in prayer.

Prayer request from our NBA missionaries Paulo and Lyndell
Please pray for Paulo and Lyndell's church which is going through a difficult time. Also, please pray for Fany who continues to struggle with cancer and needs special medication which is very costly. Her doctor was able to provide one month's prescription for free, praise the Lord for that. Meanwhile they're waiting for the lawyer to move the mandate to make the medication free of cost. Please pray that the government will free up this medication.
Paulo and Lyndell are also asking for prayers to help them with a suicide incident in their church. Please pray for wisdom as they comfort and counsel the grieving family who just recently accepted the Lord and started to attend their church. Although at times they feel helpless, they continue to cling to the promise that God's grace is enough and that He is strong when we are weak.
They thank us for upholding them in our prayers. They wouldn't be able to make it without them.

I would like to ask for prayer for my cochlear implant surgery which will be on Wednesday May 24 at 12 noon at the Health Sciences Centre, Dr Jordan Hochman surgeon. It is about a three hour surgery and I will be intubated and under a general anesthetic. However even though there will be about 28 staples in my head after it is considered day surgery so I will be going home in the evening. My sister has flown in to stay with me during the first week of my recovery. Please pray for the whole surgical team and recovery care and that the incision will be clean without any complications. In particular that the facial nerve and surrounding areas won’t be affected and that he might save any residual hearing in my left ear as he was able to do when I had the right ear done in 2021. Also that the incision will heal clean without too much pain. I appreciate your prayers. Thank you!

Pray for Hayley at the mall, needs Jesus. Has a Mennonite grandmother, lives with boyfriend. Slowly giving her more gospel, today the prayer in Ephesians 3.
I want to lead Rhea, a pre-law student, works at the mall too, to Jesus. Pray for an open heart for Truth, and the right time/opportunity to give her the gospel.
Today I connected with 7 people there, mostly unsaved, speaking various degrees of Truth. And for my protection from security there, and for more to come to Jesus!!

I humbly request your prayers for the family, friends, and colleagues of OPP Sgt. Eric Mueller, who tragically lost his life in the line of duty on Thursday, May 11th, at 2 am. Let us also pray for the speedy and complete recovery of the two officers who were with him during the attack and their loved ones. The recent spate of violence against law enforcement officers has made this an incredibly challenging time for those who serve and protect. Although they understand the inherent risks of their profession, the intentional targeting of officers has made their jobs even more dangerous. I urge you to keep all law enforcement families in your thoughts and prayers. Such devastating news can cause them great worry and anxiety, not knowing what the next day may bring for their loved ones.
