Please note that we will not be broadcasting services online for the month of August.

It’s time for our annual Plan to Protect Refresher Training. This training is mandatory for all of our current volunteers working with our Children and Youth. This class will be approximately 1.5 hours, and refreshments are provided.  Please sign up for the class date that works for you: Plan to Protect Refresher Registration. If you are interested in volunteering in our Children’s or Youth programs, or would like to know more about how to get started, please contact Sheilla or Rudy!

Food Bank Volunteers—Our food bank runs every other Thursday. Currently, we need drivers to pick up the food at Manitoba Harvest. Help out on a bi-weekly basis or once a month! Email foodbank@whyteridgebaptist.ca to let us know of your interest. (When we move to 100 families, Manitoba Harvest will deliver the food to us; we will need volunteers to help unload the truck upon arrival  and people to serve 5:00– 7:00pm.)

Right Now Media Online Church Resource Centre – This online service contains hundreds of family-friendly videos, as well as a large collection of Bible Studies and resources, as part of our growing Online Church Resource Centre. Consider it the Netflix of Christian videos and resources!

Solid Grounds Cafe   You are welcome to use the foyer to meet with friends during office hours. (Tuesday – Friday 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.)

Pickleball will take a break for the summer and resume in mid-September. Weekly drop-in, co-ed pickleball for anyone age 18+. Monday 9:00 & 11:10am; Tuesday 6:00 & 8:10pm; Thursday 9:00 & 11:10am; Thursday 7:00pm. No experience or equipment necessary to participate (must wear running shoes in the auditorium). $4.00 drop-in charge. Please use the north entrance. Harvest Manitoba—Food bank donations may be left in the box located in the foyer next to the mail folders.  Any non-perishables are appreciated, especially pancake mix and syrup, canned fruit/vegetables, canned meat/fish especially salmon. Please do not bring perishable items. Thank you!

Help us support  Family Support Centre!  We will have a bin in the foyer (left side of the mail folders) at church to collect your donations of baby formula (Enfamil is the most requested, but any brand is appreciated!).  Drop off any time. Contact: Karen Owzarek (204-832-0113).

Registration is now OPEN for our Kids programming starting this September 2023-August 2024.  This is for all children in Nursery up to Grade 6!

WRBC Financial Support for Christian Camp Workers 2023 – 1) Must be a member/regular attendant at WRBC (at least one year). 2) Camp must be a Christian Camp that offers a share a wage program. All share a wage program money goes directly to the camp and not individuals. 3) Each applicant will receive $100 per week to a max of $600 for summer camp ministry. 4) A report will be made to the church upon completion of your service at camp. This is a general call for donations for a Chapel Library for inmates at Headingly Correctional Centre. Do you have books that you have read and are willing to pass on?? All donated books must be SOFT COVER only.
We are seeking fictional works with a faith focus, testimonies, general books on discipleship (e.g. Scot McKnight, Philip Yancey, John Eldredge, etc.), undated devotionals, concordances, and lay-level theology books. Multiple copies of the same book are welcome. Please drop books off at the church office by August 20.

WRBC Financial Support for Christian Camp Workers 2023 – 1) Must be a member/regular attendant at WRBC (at least one year). 2) Camp must be a Christian Camp that offers a share a wage program. All share a wage program money goes directly to the camp and not individuals. 3) Each applicant will receive $100 per week to a max of $600 for summer camp ministry. 4) A report will be made to the church upon completion of your service at camp. Multiple copies of the same book are welcome. Please drop books off at the church office by August 20.

Hey Kids – You’re invited to our summer VBS camp!  FOCUS: Take a Closer Look! When:  July 24-28  –  9am to Noon. Who’s invited? Age 5-11  (For kids entering Kindergarten up to Grade 5). Our theme for the week is FOCUS: Take a Closer Look”.  Kids will discover how to trust in what we can’t see because of what we can see by putting our focus on God and His amazing plan for us.   Experience the Bible in a new way through interactive games, crafts and activities and we hope you’ll make some new friends along the way! WRBC Financial Support for Christian Camp Workers 2023 – 1) Must be a member/regular attendant at WRBC (at least one year). 2) Camp must be a Christian Camp that offers a share a wage program. All share a wage program money goes directly to the camp and not individuals. 3) Each applicant will receive $100 per week to a max of $600 for summer camp ministry. 4) A report will be made to the church upon completion of your service at camp. Right Now Media Online Church Resource Centre – This online service contains hundreds of family-friendly videos, as well as a large collection of Bible Studies and resources, as part of our growing Online Church Resource Centre. Consider it the Netflix of Christian videos and resources!

Pickleball will take a break for the summer and resume in mid-September. Weekly drop-in, co-ed pickleball for anyone age 18+. Monday 9:00 & 11:10am; Tuesday 6:00 & 8:10pm; Thursday 9:00 & 11:10am; Thursday 7:00pm. No experience or equipment necessary to participate (must wear running shoes in the auditorium). $4.00 drop-in charge. Please use the north entrance. Harvest Manitoba—Food bank donations may be left in the box located in the foyer next to the mail folders.  Any non-perishables are appreciated, especially pancake mix and syrup, canned fruit/vegetables, canned meat/fish especially salmon. Please do not bring perishable items. Thank you!

Help us support  Family Support Centre!  We will have a bin in the foyer (left side of the mail folders) at church to collect your donations of baby formula (Enfamil is the most requested, but any brand is appreciated!).  Drop off any time. Contact: Karen Owzarek (204-832-0113).

Our theme for the week is FOCUS: Take a Closer Look”.  Kids will discover how to trust in what we can’t see because of what we can see by putting our focus on God and His amazing plan for us.   Experience the Bible in a new way through interactive games, crafts and activities and we hope you’ll make some new friends along the way! 4HG Youth June 23rd

So long, farewell, auf Wiedersehen, good night,

It’s the end of the School year, and with that, it is the end of the Youth Year as well.

We want to celebrate our Youth this coming Friday with some pizza and games, as well as say good-bye to our Grads.

4HG Youth In-House

Hey all! Hope you’re enjoying the warm days as school winds down! This week  (Friday,  June 16) we’ll be meeting at church again for some games,  worship in music,  small group time,  and ice cream sundaes! Hope we’ll see you all there at 6:45!

Next week (June 23) will be our final event before the summer,  so we’ll have a year end party at the church.  More details next week. 

Keep your eyes open for info on summer events,  as those will look  a bit different,  but there will be things happening!
