We’ve had to shuffle our plans somewhat last minute for this week so here they are!

Sr. Girls and Jr. Girls – you ladies will meet together at Paola’s House from 7-9pm for a Board Games Night. Bring your favorite game and favorite snack to share!

Sr. Boys and Jr. Boys – you gentlemen will meet at my (Rudy’s) house for some Super Smash Bros, and some snacks! 6:45-8:45pm! If you want to bring your fave snack, you can do that as well!

What an amazing Missionfest we got to experience this last week! Thank you all for making it and investing in the time we had there! Don’t forget to bring your finished scavenger hunt to get your prize!

This week we are writing letters again to encourage the people who cannot make it out to church.  I hope you remember the last time we did it, and how much of a blessing it was to the people in our church family who can’t leave their homes to connect with others.  We will also hear from Erika about the question “If God is a loving God, why does He send people to hell?” 

We will play, have pizza for snack, and get some awesome time in small groups as well! Hope to see you all there!

We are heading to Manitoba Missionfest this Friday!
Here’s what you need to know!
Where? 1397 Buffalo Place, Winnipeg (We will meet at the World Cafe to check in and out, check the Map below to find out where to go)

When? Feb 7th – 6:45pm to 9:15pm
What? We will spend the evening roaming around Church of the Rock in groups of at least 3 people, exploring the 135 Booths that are set up for ministries that are connected to Missions around the world. There are opportunities to sit in a session to hear one of the speakers, check out the Youth room and the things happening there, or spend some money to grab a snack!

We are excited for this coming week’s event as well, as we ask another really important question about our faith and what we believe. The question this week is “What happens to the people who did not have a chance to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ? What happens to babies who don’t live to be able to make a choice, what happens to people who live in unreached areas in this world?”  I hope you’re ready to engage with these hard questions! I hope to see you there!

Our Question this week is: “Is there an in-between between Heaven and Hell?”  It’s a great question and challenging to think about. Where do we end up after this life is over? Can’t wait to dig into the Bible with you on this topic!

Happy New Year Everyone!!!

I can’t wait to see you all and hear all your stories from Christmas and the New Year! Luckily we won’t have to wait long since we will be meeting this Friday, January 10th!

This Friday we will be meeting at The Forks for some Ice Skating on the River, so bring your skates, dress up cozy, and come to do some communal skating on the river. We will be meeting at the “Forks Market Plaza and Canopy” – you can easily google this if you’re not sure how to get there. We will be in that space from 6:30pm to 8:30pm! Make note of the times and let your rides know!

(You can also feel free to bring some cash if you would like to get something inside the Forks Market)

Hey All!

I hope you’re having a meaningful Advent, and you’re taking time to slow down to think about why we do the things we’re doing leading up to Christmas. I pray that you find meaning in walking the path to the Stable alongside the Shepherds this year.

This week is our last regular in-house night, and we are going to hear from Alexis on a topic that she is passionate about as she’s going to answer one of the questions that you have asked us. We will have snacks, games, and time together in small group as well. I hope to see you there!

Next week (Dec 20th) is our Christmas Party, and I’ll have more information for you in the coming week!
