We are excited about our first visit back to Bolivia since 2009 when we completed our time as Field Staff with Canadian Baptist Ministries, serving at the Seminary in Cochabamba.
During the two weeks we will be connecting with former colleagues, students and pastors. I will be sharing from the Exodus Sermon Series in two preaching workshops for pastors (one in Cochabamba and one in Oruro). Pat and I together will be spending time with the Directors of the Spiritual Formation program on campus, Antonio and Betty Antezana, as well as the students. And we will be offering a marriage seminar for pastors and their wives, using John Piper’s book This Momentary Marriage.
We are very grateful for books in Spanish provided by Desiring God Ministries, since most students and pastors do not have sufficient resources for ministry. We ask for your prayers: for health and safety in our travels, as well as the anointing of God on our teaching and the many relationships we will be re-connecting with or forming afresh.
